Join us as we get to know the motivated and energetic Erika Di Pierro, the Executive Assistant and face of Champagne A.D. Coutelas. 

Champagne A.D.Coutelas was founded in Villers sous Chatillon deep in the Marne Valley in 1809. The winery uses its wealth of expertise to fly the flag for authenticity and tradition with its champagnes.

The Coutelas family has spent eight generations perfecting the art of vine growing and keeping its unique legacy alive with expertise, experience and passion day after day.

Luxury Sparkle: Please introduce yourself to us in one or two sentences!

I am Erika, I am 25 years old and executive assistant at Champagne AD Coutelas. I always think positive and am fascinated or inspired by literally anything! Love is what keeps me alive.

Luxury Sparkle: If you had to choose one champagne or wine from your collection, which would it be and why?

I'd choose the Cuvée Louis Victor as it is one of the most complex cuvées of the range. Indeed, because of the Solera method (blend of different harvests), older wines, which are more mature,"educate" the younger ones (more vigorous), just like parents with their child. Family and tradition are two of the most important aspects for me and this cuvée gathers both.

Luxury Sparkle: What inspired you to have a wonderful career in the industry?

I've always been fascinated by the nature and by what we can obtain from it. A simple grape can produce a renown and luxurious product that can have different aromas and characteristics from one winegrower to another.

Luxury Sparkle: Can people visit the Maison to try your beautiful wine and to learn more about your brand

Of course, we are open from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Cellars tours are organized every day at 10am and 3pm.

Luxury Sparkle: Do you have any exciting plans for 2024? If so, please share with us!

Developing the export market, especially in Italy, my mother country. I really love my job and I am passionate about it so I'll try my best to make the Champagne AD Coutelas, its traditions and origins, known in other countries.

Luxury Sparkle: As an experienced woman in business what advice do you have for other women?

I am totally convinced that women can achieve big goals and can do anything. It may be hard at the beginning, especially if you are young, but don't loose hope as it'll be worth it. Just believe in yourself and in your abilities, women can really change the world!

The elegance of the product made, that totally fits with our products, as well as the desire to develop the brand and achieve bigger goals.
